Stairway to heaven

I like to think the "Stairway to Heaven" is just like this one and takes our very loved cats and kittens to a beautiful paradise. Here is where I remember the Osocozi cats that have been cherished family members and have now moved on to a higher place.

Spike

Spike 1999 - 2007

I found our beautiful gentle giant, collapsed one morning. There was nothing the vet could do for him as he had a ruptured tumour on his spleen. We are totally devastated. Spike was our beautiful, big, soppy boy who would allow the kittens to curl up and sleep next to him. He wouldn't move until they moved away from him. Such a gentle, loving boy. We can't believe he's gone and the house is so empty without him. We will always miss him, he's left a huge vacuum behind. It was a privilege to have such a loving dog as Spike.

Poppy

Poppy 1997 - 2007

Our wonderful Moggie who died on 9th June. We rescued her when she was just 6 weeks old. Semi-feral, she spent most of her time in our shed at the bottom of the garden, coming in to eat and sleep but only in bad weather! She had a tail which curled right over her back and was a typical "naughty tortie", but she will be sorely missed. We believe she had ingested some kind of poison, leading to her illness and eventually having to be put to sleep. Now she is with the other past members of the Osocozi family, probably bossing them around and giving them a really hard time.

Craigdhu Remus

Craigdhu Remus - Oscar 1997 - 2007

He came to us when he was 3 years old. Such a wonderful character he was really a "fussy pussy", crooning and chirruping when ever we were within earshot. Playing and rubbing against us, always wanting a cuddle. We found him "asleep" this afternoon when we took him his tea. He was my introduction to British Shorthair Cats, in particular the British Tipped and the Osocozi cattery is his legacy. We will miss him so very much. Bye Bye baby, may the angels keep you safe. Thank you Sue Griss for trusting us with this gorgeous boy.

Cryses Enola Gay

Cryses Enola Gay - Enola

You were not with us for very long, you left us at the tender age of 18 months but in that very short time you earned a wonderful and special place in our hearts. Affectionate and a really good mum, you left me your lovely daughter so you can never be forgotten. Sleep tight baby. We love you.

Tershee Misteeq

My beloved "Teekie" 2003 - 2005

This beautiful girl was taken from me at Christmas time ... she was only two years old. My sweet girl is really missed and lives in my heart. Oh, how I miss those huge round eyes!! She will now be chasing butterflies in heaven ... her favourite pastime. She would sit at the window trying to catch them and could never quite understand why she couldn't!

Jokatz Candyman

Ch Jokatz Candyman - Billy

2003 - 2007

GCCF and TICA Champion crossed Rainbow Bridge in November 2007. Billy developed a facial tumour, which eventually led to him having to be put to sleep. He was a very special boy, his show successes include Best British Shorthair at the Scottish Cat Club Show in 2006 and he was also awarded 2 Grand Challenge Certificates. Sadly he was never given the opportunity to claim his third, due to his illness. He was a gentle, playful boy with an exceptional temperament, his loss is very hard to deal with and he will be forever in our hearts. His memory lives on, his daughter "Osocozi Creme Della Creme" remains with us here at Osocozi.
